Sam and Friends

It's been a particularly Muppety May this year. In addition to the announcement of the Muppets finally nabbing a new TV series after over fifteen years, Muppet fans everywhere have celebrated two important anniversaries this month. Of course, today marks the 25th anniversary of Jim Henson's passing. And only a week ago, May 9th saw the anniversary of Henson's first television series "Sam and Friends" debuting then in 1955; thus making Kermit the Frog sixty years old! I created this artwork to commemorate the occasion, and while I wasn't quite finished with this last week, today seemed like a good time to post this. Hope ya like!
